  • Online Registrations commence February 23, 2023 at 9:00 am
  • Registration will be online and at a gathering the evening before the race. There will be no Saturday, day of race registrations.
  • The race will be capped at 150 competitors
  • When you register you will either register as a 3 racer team or an individual, indicating each racers category, gender and age.
  • An optional speed camp will be held for any interested participants on the Friday before the race. speed camp

This is to acknowledge your exceptional support of the 2022 36th Schuss Boomer Downhill that raised funds to support the Smithers Ski and Snowboard Club. We thank you and we would like to ask for your support again for the 2023 race, the Schuss Boomer Downhill on . This year the Schuss Boomer Downhill will be attracting racers from around the province who grew up in alpine racing programs and National Team racers along side recreational racing enthusiasts.

For over 50 years the Smithers Ski and Snowboard Club has been fostering alpine skiing skills, sportsmanship and outdoor appreciation. This year there are over 100 skiers and snowboarders in the program, between the ages of 5 – 16 years old and we continue to grow as families realize what great opportunities there are for children in our club.

This past year’s race was a great success. The proceeds generated are a huge contribution to the club’s revenue helping to keep fees down and the program accessible to more children. The club is very grateful for the amazing community support.

We hope your company would be involved in the Schuss Boomer Downhill Fundraising Event this year, to support the Smithers Ski and Snowboarder Club. I will stop by the week of February 26 to March 3 to follow up on your possible support of donations.
